Spectacular example of a Victorian intaglio spinner in lovely condition. This antique piece was crafted in 15ct yellow gold and features a 16.5mm round panel of bloodstone with the intaglio "Pde G. C." and a 16.5mm round panel of banded white and brownish agate with an intaglio of a bird and the words "DUM VIVO CANTO" translating to "While I live, I sing". The spinner is fully hallmarked Birmingham 1882, maker AW. Independent Valuation Supplied
