Care Guide
General Advice: Jewellery is for everyday use, not 24/7 wear. Take off when you get home, put it on when you leave the house. Store it back in the box or pouch it came in. If in doubt, get in touch with us.
Silver, Gold & Platinum: Use a polishing cloth for a good wipe down.
Pearls: Avoid water, soaps, perfume, creams and lotions as its damaging to the nacre (the pearls outer layer). Simply wipe with a clean dry cloth. Restring ideally once a year depending on how often you wear your pearls. Pearl rings and earrings are glued into their settings, steam (showers & Sauna's) will damage them.
Diamonds & Most Gemstone Jewellery*: Clean with a soft toothbrush and some liquid soap or liquid detergent in warm water. NO CHEMICAL Solution. NO HOT water. Rinse well. Dry with a clean, soft microfiber cloth. *Avoid this with Pearls, Opals, Turquoise, Amber, Onyx & Coral (any porous material).
Little stones are held in by little claws and can be easily damaged by everyday chores.
Things to avoid whilst wearing jewellery: Water and water activities, housework, gardening, Working out (including the gym), moisturising creams, showering & sleeping in jewellery.
